Good afternoon Mini Seven users,

am Italian and am relocating to Amsterdam in the near future. I own a 1992 Rover 1.3i Cooper, and would like to ask a couple of questions:

1)What would be the best solution for a parking space (i know that Amstedam is peculiar about cars and parking Could anyone recommend me something that is a good compromise between keeping the car safe and not bankrupting my pockets.

2)What would be the insurance company you'd reccomend.

3)Also, any good contact for a mini mechanix for the usual maintenance, repair etc.

I can't help you with the problem of parking in Amsterdam. I live in a different part of Holland.

Insurancecompany's we have a lot of in the Netherlands. The best company depends on what you want. Some company's have a special insurance for cars that don't make to much km's a year.

About the mechanics. There are a few company's in Holland that are specialized in mini's. On the frontpage of the website are some links to these company's.

i think i will choose the limited kms a year option, as i really use the car only once a week, and in Amsterdam you don't really need it for a day by day routine.
