Possibly an petrol problem.
It can also mean that there is a hole in a hose or maybe the lambda wire is broken or making no contact.
Maybe you can drive to a Rover dealer to read you're computer out to see some faults like information missing what the comp needs to work properly.
What you also can do is lose the - wire from you're battery for a few minutes to reset you're comp.

RE: Starting problem when warm

Help needed from all you miniacs!!!
I have a 1997 Mini Cooper 1.3mpi.
When the engine is warm and then turned off I am experiencing a problem starting the engine again. It WILL start again immediately after it is turned off, but if left turned off for a few minutes it will NOT start again until the engine has cooled down.
I am thinking that this might be a fuel problem, possibly something to do with one of the many sensors.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Bedankt
Ian
